Yin Yoga and Acupuncture for deep relaxation and release

Release deeply-held tension and enhance energy flow with our Yin and Pin Workshop.

Join Helen from Nurture Yoga and Meditation and Lily from Jade Lady Acupuncture for an afternoon of deep tissue release, relaxation and seasonal alignment.

Be guided to a place of deep, nourishing rest, unravel tension from the body and arrive in a space of complete quietude and peace with Yin Yoga with Helen.

Experience the gentle tissue release and free flow of energy with accompanying acupuncture during deep relaxation with Lily.

Everyone is welcome; no experience with acupuncture or Yoga is necessary.

At our Yin and Pin Workshop you will:

  • Experience a quiet, contemplative Yin Yoga sequence to rest, recover and relax deeply. You will be supported by props to release tension from deep tissues, optimising your well-being for winter.

  • Following your Yin Yoga session, you will be led to a space of deep relaxation and receive gentle acupuncture, to stabilise three key energy centres in your body.

  • The workshop is suitable for pregnant, postnatal and general students; no experience with Yoga is necessary.

FAQs

  • Yin Yoga is a quiet, contemplative form of Yoga that uses poses held for 3-10 minutes to target deep tissues. As you take each posture, you will be supported by props to release tension from connective tissues, ligaments, fascia and joint networks.

Energetically, Yin Yoga draws on the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine to open meridians and improve energy flow.

  • Our classes are attended by people of all levels of experience, from beginners to experienced students; by people with varied levels of physical ability and mobility; and by people living in all kinds of bodies. Yin Yoga is a slow practice with poses held for 3 -10 minutes, using the support of props, with options to support your unique body. The class is suitable for pregnant and postnatal students. Everyone is welcome.

  • Following your Yin Yoga practice, you will be guided to a space of deep relaxation. It is here that you will receive acupuncture to three key energy points on the front of your body, through the application of small needles to deepen relaxation and continue to open and release tension from the body, and to stimulate key points for seasonal well-being.

For all enquiries or to discuss your needs, email Helen.
